Casa Kau-Kan is a
small boutique hotel situated at the foot of the majestic Sierra Madre
del Sur, where the jungled mountains meet the sundrenched beaches of the
Pacific Ocean on the Costa Grande of Guerrero, Mexico. Casa Kau-Kan provides a unique experience for the vacationer looking to relax and avoid the crowds, chaos and repetitive bland offerings associated with typical high-rise beachfront hotels. We have no discoteque, no activities director, no fighting for pool chairs and beach palapas, no telephones, no television, no blaring music, and no time-share salepeople! What we DO have are eight comfortable air-conditioned suites, a quiet pool and garden area, unmarred views to the horizon, 15 kilometers (9½ miles) of unspoiled sandy beach, the best climate in the world, delicious gourmet food from our own kitchen, coconut palm trees, pelicans skimming the wavetops, dolphins and whales jumping in the ocean, and sea turtles laying their eggs on the beach. We even have a special incubation area where you can watch sea turtle eggs hatch and participate in the release of the baby turtles if you are here at the right time of year. What more could you ask for? |
